Black Label Invitational is a one-day event involving just over 200 of the best and unique vehicles around Australia. The doors will open to the VIP ticket holders at 10.00am and the general public at 12.00pm. It is imperative that you arrive at the venue as early as possible to prevent delays.

Our venue for 2025 is the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Bays 7 - 13, South Wharf, Victoria 3006.

Bump-in

• Commences at 7.30AM

• Enter via the loading bay on Normanby Road

• Gate closes at 9.45AM

MCEC Induction

All entrants for Black Label are required to complete the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre’s online induction. It is your responsibility to complete the induction process BEFORE bump in on event day. Should MCEC staff request to view your certificate and identification, if not completed, you may be denied site access.

Step 1

Arrive at the loading bay, located on Normanby Road.

Step 2

Head over to Roller Door 4 where you will be greeted by our staff and directed to check in.

Step 3

A staff member will confirm your details. There are no fees to enter your vehicle to BL however any passengers in the vehicle during bump in will be required to hold a valid General Admission ticket. Online pre-purchase tickets are available until the day before of the event at $35. Tickets purchased on the day during bump in process will be $45.

Please note that kids under 15 years of age are NOT allowed within the venue during the bump in period as per the MCEC rules and regulations.

Step 4

When ready, you will be guided into the venue, then into your display bay.

All patrons during bump in MUST wear a hi-vis vest during this period. Please bring your own hi-vis vest or these can be purchased during bump in.

Safety

For safety reasons, your vehicle must remain switched off the entire duration of the event and not move until bump out. No vehicles will be permitted to enter or leave the premises between the official bump in and out times. Strictly no revving inside the venue. Bump out will commence at 5.15pm. You will be instructed by our staff when it is safe to start your vehicles and carefully exit back through the loading bay.

NOTE:

• If your vehicle is leaking oil or any other forms of fluid, you MUST bring your own drip tray to contain the leaking oil/fluid. If there is no drip tray and oil/fluid has leaked from your vehicle, the entrant is responsible for any additional cleaning costs incurred.

• Invitees are NOT allowed to sell their own merchandise OR promote their business.

Entrant Support Vehicle Parking

Please note, it is the support vehicle owner’s responsibility to find suitable parking when you have unloaded and bumped in for the event. Separate parking for tow trucks and trailers can be found in the above marked RED area, a short distance walk to MCEC.
